I was a child when this incident happened to me,

Shana Carmignani

as Dana

Shana is a talented child actor and model, born to a French-Filipino family in Doha, Qatar, and raised in Marrakech, Morocco.  She started her journey in the Singapore entertainment industry at the age of 5, having been recognized for her talent and passion at just 2 years old. Growing up in a family with a strong appreciation for the arts, Shana quickly developed a passion for performing and modeling.

 

Throughout her years, Shana has taken advantage of every opportunity to grow and develop as an artist. She was a part of the StarHub Startlet Gallery. She has also appeared in the popular Go Iguana series, further building her reputation as a talented young performer. Additionally, Shana has completed hundreds of castings, showcasing her versatility and range as a performer.

 

Today, Shana is one of the faces of Impact Model Singapore, a modeling agency that specializes in promoting young talent. In December 2022, she was given the opportunity to host the first Live Kids Fashion Show for the Ultra Funk Collection, which was a major turning point in her career. Not only did she represent two collections on the runway, but she also demonstrated her hosting skills and poise under pressure.

 

In preparation for her debut in a lead role as Dana in Paper Planes, Don’t Always Soar, Shana attended a series of one-to-one workshop sessions with the film director, Diyana. This experience has given Shana the chance to demonstrate her acting abilities on a new platform, proving herself as a talented and professional young actor. Despite her young age, Shana is known for her professionalism and natural stage-presence. She has a reputation for being sweet, kind, and respectful, which has endeared her peers alike. With her talent, passion, and drive, Shana is poised to become one of the industry's most sought-after child actors and models in the years to come.

Fir Rahman

as Andri

Fir Rahman is a multi-disciplinary actor with over 20 vears of experience in local and regional theatre, film and television. He is most recognised as the lead actor in Apprentice, Singapore's submission for the Cannes Film Festival in 2016. Fir made local history by being the first Singaporean to be nominated as Best Newcomer in the acting category in the 11th Asian Film Awards.

 

Fir's success today has its roots in theatre. From a humble teenager stepping onto the stage for the first time ever, Fir has since had the opportunity to discover a variety of theatre genres from drama, comedy, musical, tragedy and more. In June 2022, Fir made his mark as Lisander in Bangsawan Gemala Malam, Teater Ekamatra's adaptation of Midsummer Night's Dream as part of the Singapore International Festival of the Arts. In 2009, Fir played the antagonist Adan in Wira Bukit, Teater Kami's staging of acclaimed Malaysian novelist A. Samad Said's best-selling book of the same name.

 

Fir is also a familiar face on local TV screens. In 2002, he was crowned winner of Mediacorp Suria's reality talent contest, Juara. Among his many achievements include being crowned Best Actor for a Supporting Role in Suria's Pesta Perdana 2019 for his performance as traditional-minded barber Zikri Aziz in Gunting. Fir is also part of Mediacorp Channel 5's Lion Mums series, playing the role of a doting father who overcomes numerous challenges at work and at home.

Adlina Adil

as Rina

Adlina Adil made her acting debut in 2010, on Suria’s 8-episode TV drama, Art & El. Having chanced upon this "accidental" lead role, Adlina soon progressed on to other dramas and telemovies on Suria, such as Mr Perfect, BFF, Hilang Kasih Di Sarajevo and Gunting the series, in which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Pesta Perdana 2019.

 

In 2018, she managed to clinch a role in Singapore’s long form award-winning telenova Kin on Channel 5, playing Syirah Jamaluddin. After filming 854 episodes over 3.5 years, Adlina is back on other dramas, showcasing several genres such as a comedy series on Tiang Lampu (Suria) and a horror anthology on After Dark S2: Mommy (Mewatch).
